Introduction
Hi, my name is Debbie Hightower and I have been the Office Manager at LeBlanc Pediatrics since we opened 10 years ago. Established in 2011 with offices in Mandeville and Covington, LeBlanc Pediatrics is the Northshore’s top clinic for pediatric care. LeBlanc Pediatrics strives to provide the ultimate patient experience and was designed to combine the technological and medical expertise of a hospital with the personal touch and responsiveness typically seen in private clinics. Our clinic is full of dedicated people who understand we are here to listen and serve your needs. Through the use of technology, your children’s medical information is quickly accessible to our staff as we check you in. Our medical assistants efficiently enter all pertinent data in preparation for your visit, which your provider can immediately access for your appointment. With the impressive world of technology also comes the risk of cyberattacks. When you hear about the latest cyberattacks that seem to be hitting many businesses, small and large, it can be intimidating. I’m sure you can understand why selecting the right technology partner was one of the most important decisions we could make for the protection of our patients and our business.
First Impressions
When I first met Nick, his enthusiasm for what he does and the company he works for, General Informatics, was contagious. Nick Morgan is the Business Development Manager for General Informatics and I have to say, his professionalism, confidence and ease of manner made me feel comfortable right away. He explained in detail what GI represented as an IT company and what they could do for us to keep our clinic running smoothly and with the knowledge that our information was safe and secure. Throughout the vetting process I had the pleasure of being introduced to a handful of employees at General Informatics. Nick Morgan (Business Development Manager), Steven Cavell (Customer Success Manager), James Thomas (Security Engineer), Dustin Landry (Senior Infrastructure and Design Engineer), and last but not least, Donald Monistere (CEO and President). I have to admit that I had concerns at first due to the size of the company that General Informatics is. One of my greatest fears of dealing with a large company is that you lose the personal touch and just become another client for them. After I had the chance of meeting and speaking with people inside of this company, I can honestly say that cannot be further from the truth with GI. I must give credit to Donald Monistere as he has done a great job staffing his company with genuine, caring employees who really believe in what they are doing at GI. The energy, belief, and company culture is contagious and I cannot be more excited to partner with GI for many years to come!
